"She bullied me first."

Jacob said with some grievances. His beautiful eyes were fixed straight on Megan, showing his innocence.

Although Megan knew that Jacob was faking it, she was still unable to be immune to this. She shook her head and said, "That's because Aunt Lakey liked your performance. And your behavior was not what gentleman should do, right?"

"Okay, I'll apologize to her."

Jacob put away his innocent expression and walked out with a sigh.

Lorraine still liked Jacob very much. After all, the child looked pleasant, which gave her no chance to be angry with him. It didn't take long for her to start making moves to Jacob.

Jacob had been holding back for Megan's sake and tried to distance himself from Lorraine as much as possible.

The three of them spent the night in such a harmonious atmosphere.

When Megan woke up in the morning, Jacob had already gone out to buy breakfast and put it on the table.

Jacob sat down, picked up the dishes, and started eating.

"I'm going to the HY Group today. I need to wash up now."

"Excuse me, miss, who are you looking for?"

The receptionist quickly spotted Megan and stopped her.

"I'm looking for Nelson. I'm Catherine, a designer from H' J Company in the United States. I'm here to report today."

Megan said with a faint smile.

Hearing this, the receptionist did not dare to neglect her. She quickly smiled and said, "Miss Catherine, please wait a moment. I'll tell Mr. Yankey right away."

"Okay."

Megan didn't make things difficult for her either, just stood at the front desk and waited.
