Chapter 3 Was It Really a Coincidence?

Megan!

Catherine's real name was Megan?

Nelson's eyes twitched.

"Do you have any pictures of Catherine?"

"No, the H&J Corporation is very secretive about Catherine's privacy. I've used all kinds of channels but have not found any pictures of Catherine. It's said that she's a very beautiful woman."

Ted couldn't imagine that a car designer who made a sensation all over the world was a woman, a very beautiful woman!

This was a little illogical.

Which woman would be interested in cars?

Nelson did not think the way Ted did. He stared at the word Megan in the document for a long time. His eyes were slightly narrowed, making it hard for others to feel his emotions, but his fingers subconsciously tapped on the table, and the tapping was rhythmic, making the atmosphere in the office a little stagnant.

"Boss..."

"Make the arrangement. I'll pick her up myself."

Nelson finally spoke, with his eyes shining with a strange light.

Megan!

Was it really a coincidence that they were two women having the same name?

No one found Megan's body in the fire five years ago. The police said the fire was too big and the body might have been burnt to ashes, but Nelson never believed that Megan was dead.

Now this woman, Catherine, was also called Megan!

He couldn't wait to see this designer.

Ted was a little stunned. After all, there weren't many people who could get Nelson to pick themselves up in person in the past five years, but he was only stunned for a second. He quickly reacted and turned around to arrange it.

When the car arrived at the airport, Megan's flight had just arrived.

Megan pulled her suitcase out of the security checkpoint. Her long brown wavy hair, perfectly proportioned figure, and stunning facial features immediately attracted everyone's attention. The little boy next to her was dressed in a white casual suit, his skin was fair, his long eyelashes were blinking, and he looked very adorable. He was wearing a cap with the brim on the back, and he followed Megan slowly with a lollipop in his mouth, and he looked at ease. But his beautiful eyes looked formidable.

"Jacob, this is H City, not America. Stop your arrogant expression and follow me closely."

Megan felt helpless and heartbroken for her son's expression.

Every move of Jacob looked more and more like Nelson. Sometimes she had to admit that his genes were powerful, but she would rather Jacob was more like her.

"Mommy, what's wrong with me?"

Jacob shrugged innocently, looking mischievous.

Megan chuckled and shook her head. She poked her finger at his head and said, "Don't be coquettish to me with your deceiving face. You are my son. I know exactly what kind of boy you are. I warn you to be honest this time back in H City. Don't mess around. Do you hear me?"

"Just relax. You come back to work, and I come back to see where you grew up, so I won't do anything. Mommy, I'm your son! How can you guard me like you're guarding against an enemy?"

Jacob pouted with dissatisfaction.

Megan rubbed his head and said, "You are always mischievous. So I just gave you some advice. Let's go out of the airport. I'll call Aunt Lakey and we'll stay at her house for a few days."

"Okay."

Jacob smiled like an angel, holding Megan's hand and walking out.

Suddenly, Jacob found a familiar figure.

The man looked quite like him, and he could feel his formidable aura even from a distance.

He thought, "This person should be Nelson, right?

My so-called father?"

Jacob secretly looked up at Megan, and when he saw Megan looking for the phone number, he suddenly held his stomach.

"Ouch, mommy, I got a tummy ache. I need to go to the bathroom!"

Megan heard her son shouting and looked up. His face was flushed red while he was holding his stomach. His legs were rubbing against each other as if he was in an urgent need to go to the bathroom.

"I will go with you."

Megan wanted to pick up Jacob, but Jacob ran out.

"No need, mommy. I can't hold it in anymore. Wait for me outside. I'll be back soon."

Jacob ran out at a terrific speed.

When Megan saw him like this, she shook her head helplessly and started making calls.

"Lorraine, this is Megan. I'm back."

Megan called Lorraine, her former best friend, and they had been in contact for five years. Now Lorraine was a kindergarten teacher, and she was especially happy to hear that Megan was back.

"When did you come back? I will ask for leave to pick you up. Are you at the airport?"

Lorraine was overjoyed.

"No need to pick me up. I brought Jacob back. We'll just take a taxi to your house later."

Megan said as she walked. She didn't see the person in front of her, so she bumped into him.

"Sorry, I didn't notice..."

Megan hurriedly looked up to apologize, but was stunned at the moment she looked up.

It was him!

Nelson!

What a coincidence!
