Chapter Seven

Sarah POV:

Over the last few days, Adam had been constantly calling and texting me. I left them all unanswered but it only angered him.

Adam: Answer the damn phone!

Adam: I swear to God when I get my hands on you...

Adam: Baby, I'm sorry. I can change.

Adam: Please talk to me.

Adam: Stop being a bitch and answer the fucking phone!

Those messages came day in and out. I was afraid to even go home some nights.

Kade had also been spending a lot of time with me. He made me feel safe. He had been picking me up from class every day and taking me on walks. I missed spending time with him.

I walked out of the building with Lana and saw Kade's bike, along with Ryder's.

Kade looked up at me as we approached and smiled.

"Hey." He said and gave me a hug. "Hi." I replied and made myself comfortable in his arms.

"What the fuck are they staring at?" Ryder asked.

When I looked in the direction he was, I saw Adam and Cole watching us.

"I swear I'm going to kill those fucks." Kade said. "Calm down." I said softly, easing his tension.

"You hungry?" Kade asked me, softly. "Yeah." I replied and smiled.

"See you bitches at the house. We're gonna grab some grub." Kade said, helping me on his bike.

"Who you callin' bitch, bitch?" Ryder asked and flipped him off.

Kade took me to a small southern restaurant close by the club house.

"Is he still calling you?" Kade asked. I looked down and nodded. "Yeah. His voicemails scare the shit out of me." I replied.

Kade reached across the table and took my hand.

"I won't let him hurt you again. You understand?" He asked. "Yeah." I whispered. "I'll always keep you safe." He said, softly. I gave him a light smile. "I know." I told him.

Kade POV:

Sarah was such a good woman. I couldn't even imagine hurting her. I don't know why the hell Adam did it. God, I hated him with every fiber of my being. Sorry mother fucker. I had actually begged Samuel to let me kill the sorry fuck but Sarah didn't want that so we let it go.

At least we have Lane there to watch out of her and Lana. I felt so much more at ease knowing he was there with them.

Lane was a good kid. He'd only been with the MC for about a year. All he wanted was to help people and that is what made him fit in so well with us.

"You ready? I noticed you had some homework in your hands earlier." I said. "Yeah, I guess. I need to get this shit over with anyway." She replied.

I sat the money on the table and lead her towards my bike.

"I had fun today, Kade. Thank you for helping me keep all of this crazy shit off my mind." Sarah told me when she climbed off of the bike.

"It's what I'm here for." I said and gave her a small smile.

She leaned over and kissed my cheek.

"I'll call you later." She said before walking into the club house.

I'm so fucking whipped. God help me.

When I left the club house, I noticed my gas hand was almost on empty so I headed to the store.

After I walked in, paid for my smokes and the gas, I walked back to the bike and noticed Adam.

"Dude, don't make an idiot of yourself. I really don't feel like goin' to jail today." I said. "Why the fuck are you spending so much Time with my girl?" He asked, angrily. I laughed in his face. "She ain't your girl, man. She broke up with your sorry ass." I replied.

"Who the fuck do you think you are, you stupid Tennessean hick?" He asked.

"That's the best you can come up with?" I asked as I laughed. "Yeah, I'm a Tennessean hick and damn proud of it, and this Tennessean hick is the one spending all his time with your girl. Now will you please fuck off?" I asked and smirked at him.

Adam then throw a punch but I dodge it.

I grabbed the sorry fuck by the collar of his shirt and slammed him against the gas tank.

I stared at him with anger in my eyes for a moment but then thought about Sarah and let him go.

"You're not even worth it." I said and rode away from him.
