I could hear a few names coming up and I could hear mine as well and that gave me a sigh of relief. The host continued "So the three names from WHDT who will be participating at the footloose competition are: Liam, Tina and... Emma"

My joy had literally no bounds I was so happy like is this happening for real? I could feel my heart pumping loud and I honestly froze on the stage. My family and friends came running over to me and hugged me. I am never ever going to forget this day, I thought to myself.

After the celebrations, Mike called us to brief us about the procedure ahead. He said "Congratulations my trio, and I am so proud of you guys. Now, as we know footloose takes entries in terms of groups, and the catch is you three will not be in the same group. There are selections made from various schools and also off-campus auditions were conducted for other participants. And now the teams are decided, and Sophie from footloose will be guiding you on the same."

Sophie was tall and fair with blonde hair. I had seen her before on footloose and was fond of her. She is an amazing dancer and her expertise is in the field of lyrical hip-hop.

Sophie continued "Our auditions are completed from other schools as well as the television ones. You guys are the last lot. So we will have an official opening at footloose and everything will be known to you guys. But for now, I informally inform you guys, Liam will be a part of "All-stars", Tina "Blue Sapphires" and Emma "Dance Elite" and each group shall consist of 5 participants. Later in the evening, we went to a club to celebrate. Lana, Tina, and Liam were meeting us at the club while Nate picked me up. "Didn't officially get a chance to congratulate you, babe, I am so proud of you" he leaned and gave me a peck on the cheek. Now, this was weird, he never calls me "babe", but then I chose to ignore it.

We reached and had some drinks and were dancing. I was waiting at the bar called out 3 times for the drink I wanted but the bartender just won't listen to me. I felt a tall figure near me shouting on top of his voice "The lady said 3 martinis 3 times, dude give it to her." I turned around to see this tall guy, with brown hair, brown eyes, and skin which would not be wrong to say looked like a Greek god. He was so hot I actually forgot I was legit staring at him. "Hello?'" he said "I WASN' T STARING" I blurted out and instantly regretted. "well. I am sure you were not" to cut the awkwardness I said "Thank you, my name is Emma," he said "Noah this side" The drinks came, and though I wanted to talk to him, I left.

Me, Lana, Liam, and Tina were dancing while Nate was enjoying his drink. Lana came closer and said, "Nate is acting so weird these days and in the last 10 minutes I saw him literally staring at you." "Whaaaaaat! no way" I said. "well, telling you what I saw" she said. I thought to myself yes the peck on the cheek and that "babe" was weird too. Suddenly Noah showed up and asked, "Can I join you, my date stood me up" Is she foolish I thought to myself. "Yeah sure," I said. Lana came running "Who on the earth is this hottie?" "I just met him at the bar," I said.

I and Noah were dancing he was just so good-looking. "You've got some moves," he said, I just blushed. We all had some food and were leaving. Noah asked "Can I drop you home? I am not creepy trust me " to my shock Nate came from behind and said "Hey bro, thanks but I am dropping her." It was definitely weird but then Nate is my best friend and I had just met Noah.

"Can I get your phone ?" Noah asked. I gave him and he put his digits and saved it as "cute guy from the bar" winked at me and said "call me: All this was so new for me I did not know how to even react but I was loving it.

Nate dropped me and I thought to myself it was indeed a good day, footloose selection plus meeting Noah. I don't know if anything could happen between us but I was really happy.
