Seraphina didn’t have an easy life, in fact it was rather challenging, being mute since childhood. Her track record for handsome rich men was never great given that she had seen their true colors many a times, that along with being the subject of their bullying as a child.
So her friends marriage interview shouldn’t have been any different, attending only as a secretary for her family. That was all it should've been.
Yet if that was the case, then why couldn't she get rid of him? Why did he take such an attachment to her? She wasn't anything special. She should've been happy with what she had.
So why did he make her want more?
