Chapter 3 False Affection

Kaitlynn clutched the sheet tightly, tears streaming down her cheeks.

She could do nothing but bear all this, hoping this nightmare could come to an end soon.

After a long while, the man finally finished and fell asleep beside her.

After making sure he was asleep, Kaitlynn took a deep breath. She wiped away her tears, got up, put on her clothes, and made a hasty escape from the room.

Admittedly, she was cowardly and at this point, she did not even have the guts to turn on the light to see what the man looked like.

She was still in shock. She couldn't think so much with extreme terror.

Sitting on a bench by the side of the street, Kaitlynn stared blankly ahead. She felt that the blood had drained from her head, as she didn't notice the stream of cars passing in front of her.

Her body was icy cold, but she couldn't feel the coldness as her mind was filled with the man's gasps and her pleas for mercy.

Until now, she couldn't believe that she had been raped.

The phone in her hand suddenly vibrated, startling Kaitlynn and pulling her back to reality.

Looking at the caller ID on her phone, she didn't dare to answer.

'How do I going to tell Guillermo that I have been raped?'

'If he knows, will he think I am dirty?'

The phone rang over and over again, and it was only after a long time that Kaitlynn picked up the phone with trembling fingers. She answered softly in a hoarse voice, "Hello..."

"Kaitlynn, where are you now?" As soon as he got through to her, he asked directly.

"I..." Kaitlynn bit her lip and gripped the phone tightly for a long time, unable to say a word. When she heard his voice, she felt like her heart was hurt deeply. It was so uncomfortable.

Guillermo only heard her faint sobbing on the phone after a while. He couldn't help but say, "Where are you? I'm coming to pick you up."

"No!" Kaitlynn subconsciously refused, "Don't come!"

She didn't want him to see what she looked like now.

"Kaitlynn, what are you talking about?" Guillermo's voice was very gentle, "Good girl, tell me, where are you?"

"I..." Kaitlynn bit her lips and took a deep breath as she replied, "Outside the Four Seasons, on a bench by the side of the road."

"Okay, just wait for me there. I'll be right there soon." Guillermo instructed, "Don't wander off, got it?"

"Yeah..."

She hung up and gripped the phone in her hand. She felt extremely painful and depressed now.

To her surprise, Guillermo arrived so soon, but soon she remembered that it was he who asked her to come here, so he should be near here too.

She felt sadder as she thought so.

Standing in front of her, Guillermo sized her up before asking with concern, "Kaitlynn, how are you? Are you alright?"

"I..." she wanted to say what happened to her but just couldn't tell that harsh truth. She shook her head feebly. "I'm fine."
