CHAPTER SIX

THE guy’s brows furrows. “I don’t care if you kids are the owner’s relatives. I live next door and I really hate noise,” him, ignoring what her sister said.

For the last six weeks, her mind chose to block her memory of this guy and what happened to them. She had a lot of things to worry that she haven’t thought of the possibility that he could be living next door.

“I suppose you’re all siblings and you must be the eldest,” he said looking at her. She felt her shoulder stiffen. “If you wont discipline your younger brothers, I’ll do it myself and you will never like it to happen.

The way he looks at her, it seems like he didn’t recognized her. He just plainly look like a neighbor complaining about her brothers’ commotion.

She clench her fist in anger. Here she is, problematic what to do with her problems piling up but this man didn’t even seem to remember what he have done to her.

Her emotions are getting mixed up that she starts to feel dizzy and have difficulty breathing. The guy was still looking at her when her surrounding suddenly turned dark.

“WHAT the hell!” he exclaimed while carrying his neighbor in his arms. And worse, he have to take her to the hospital too. He hate his noisy neighbor but that doesn’t mean he’d just ignore them.

He hates noise but he didn’t mind these siblings crying at the back of his car. He’s too focused in taking his neighbor to the hospital as soon as possible.

“Oh my God. I’m scared. She just told me she’s pregnant. What if she’s having a miscarriage?” the girl next to the eldest said, also crying at the backseat.

He looked at the mirror and saw the woman still unconscious and pale. So she’s pregnant.

“Do you know her boyfriend’s number? Call him. He should be the one doing this,” he snapped.

“I don’t have his number. I don’t even know who my sister’s boyfriend is.

What a bother.

“I’ll just take you guys to the hospital but after that, I’m out of this.

“W-WHERE are we going?” Sairah asked the moment she open her eyes and notice that she’s inside a moving car.

“Oh my God, you’re awake!” Livi said hugging her.

She closed her eyes as she felt her head pounding and ears like about the explode with her siblings’ loud cries.

“Can you guys stop crying? It’s not like I’m dying. You guys are so loud.

“I guess you’re okay. Do I still have to waste my gas and take you to the hospital?

She looked at the front mirror after hearing the guy’s familiar voice. Her anger starts to heighten again. She really wants to hurt this guy so bad! She saw her brother’s slipper and hit him with it in the shoulder.

“Hey! How dare you do that to me?!” she can sense his anger through his voice.

“How dare you say that after getting me pregnant!” putting stress to the word you.

They all scream and grab to wherever they could when the car suddenly stops.

The guy looked at her in the eyes. “What did you just say?

“I know you heard me. I’m pregnant and you are the father.

Instead of heading to the hospital, they went back home and now, she’s inside this guy’s room which is just beside their apartment. What a small world after all.

Personally, if she have other choice, she wont tell this guy about their baby. Obviously, the way he’s talking to her right now, he’s not someone who would take responsibility of his actions. But on their way home, while thinking about her situation being jobless, and with all her problems, it’s the best decision she can reach.

“I remember you now. It was you. You’re that woman I thought was Chelsie.

“Took you long.

“Why you didn’t resist?

“FYI, I was also drunk that time. Vulnerable. Which you took advantage and now, you’re running away from your responsibility. Are you really that kind of a person? Coward.

“Tell me, what exactly do you want from me? Is it money? I’m sorry but there’s no way you can get anything from me until it’s proven that that’s really mine.

“I’m fine with that. I didn’t tell you this so I can ask money from you anyways.

“Then if it’s not about money, what?

“When I give birth, I want you to take care of the baby.

He got speechless.

“The baby can never have a good life if she’ll stay with me. I already have too much on my plate to worry about raising a child.

His dad is bedridden and she can’t just wish him to die so she’d have less things to worry. Livi will start working soon but she knows her income wont be enough for the family if she decides to raise the baby herself.

Sending the baby to his father is the best option she could think of. Kaidic owns a nightclub so there’s no way he can’t provide for the baby.

“H-how could you decide about that so easily? I mean, I have my doubts because it’s easy to point anyone as the father of your child but you, there’s no doubt that’s your baby.

She thought he’s denying their baby just because he doesn’t want to take responsibility. She was taken aback by the way he reacted to what she said.

“I-I’m not just giving the baby to a stranger. You are the father.

“Get out.

“What?

“I said get out!

She can see so much anger on his face. Even with his handsome face, he looks really scary at that moment. She doesn’t think she can handle to talk to him anymore. She’s already shaking to begin with. She’s just trying to be tough in front of him but she’s really nervous and scared.

She’s about to go out when he suddenly held her wrist. She looked up a little to look at his face. From being so angry, his face suddenly looks so worried. “W-what?

“I’ll take you to the hospital. You’re bleeding.
